Best Job in the World
So earlier today I was sitting on the couch eating my breakfast and watching This Morning, which is my usual day off morning routine (
because I am secretly a sad individual).
Their final segment today was entitled “Best Job in the World”.

The aforementioned Jeremy is Jeremy Jauncey, a 31-year-old Scottish born traveller now based in New York, and, in my humble opinion, he probably does have the best job in the world.
Because Jeremy gets paid to go on holiday.
And not just any holidays either.
Jeremy gets paid to go on holiday to such amazing places as these.
Our weekly content creator, @mark_lakin, transports us to a tropical paradise: “After spending this gorgeous day intermittently lazing on a daybed on the beach below and snorkeling among the many sea turtles, sting rays, sharks and technicolored fish, I went back to my villa for a dip in the infinity pool. Maia is one of @epicroad’s favorite properties in the Seychelles for romance.”
I mean, holy crap, if that isn’t a dream job I don’t know what is!
Getting paid to visit such incredibly historic sites as Petra, or to visit a such a geeky heaven as the site which played the role of The Shire in the Lord of the Rings! I am so jealous of this lucky git right now!
And to make matters worse, not only does he get paid to go on such luxury holidays, he also has to deal with the curse of being incredibly easy on the eye (ladies, prepare to discover your newest Instagram crush).
I mean, c’mon man!
To be entirely honest, even if you’re not that interested in him, (
are you CRAZY?!) his personal Instagram or his travel inspiration Instagram Beautiful Destinations are like travel porn. I could honestly spend hours just looking at the incredible images of stunning destinations all over the world.
Not gonna lie, as much as I absolutely love my music, and can’t wait to make my living from it, I wouldn’t say no if someone offered to pay me to take a luxury holiday and snap a few photos (I know it’s more work than that). If somehow I could mix the music and the travel together – well now, there’s a plan.
What about you? Do you guys have any dream jobs? What do you think qualifies as the ‘Best Job in the World’?
